It has been a great pleasure to serve as juror for the Arizona Watercolor Association 1999 Exhibition. This was a particularly hard job since all the entries were rich and diverse. My selection criteria were: original approach to design, personal creative expression, freedom in the medium, content and concept-- the meaning behind the paintings. There is a wide range of techniques and subject matter -- some shout, some whisper and some make you smile. Enjoy what they have to share with you.
