MY TRAVELS:

Paris, Tennessee and Paris, France
Belgium (chocolate in Antwerp and canals and lace in Brugges)
Spain (Sunflowers for miles, Salvador Dali, mosaic floors in Roman ruins)

England (Looking through lead pane windows of a 300 year old tollhouse, thatch roofs and sheep surrounded by ancient stone walls, pubs from the 1300's, "CATS" in London)

Greece (islands that time has passed by, ouzo and dancing, learning the language)
Italy (Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica and the Pieta, Pompeii)

Turkey (pistachios at the Spice Market in Istanbul,sipping apple tea & bargaining for rugs, thunderbolts and rainbows over Roman ruins, Topkapi, bread from a street vendor, attempting to speak the language at a bakery - received many smiles and samples)

Egypt (riding a camel to the pyramids, Seeing the entire King Tut exhibition at the Cairo Museum, traveling at night on a bus with no lights and military escorts with AK47s)

Kenya (flying into the rift valley in a 1942 DC-3, a leopard's roar at midnight, vervet monkeys stealing food , elephants scratching their backs on trees, learning Swahili, Maasai warriors in jumping competitions )

Seychelles ( feeding flowers to 400 pound Aldabran tortoises, rain forests )
And, just because I could, I sat on the border marker plaque, twenty feet inside Tanzania.
