Q. A friend is planning to paint watercolors in the Arizona desert this sumer... are any special techniques and/or materials required? Even something as simple as "Bring your own shade" is helpful.

She's planning on painting in the Grand Canyon area this summer.

Thanks to one and all for your help!

Hello,

CROSS CULTURAL LINK BETWEEN ONTARIO AND SEDONA. My work is Installation Architectural Detail including Stained glass and Sculpture.

www.comsearch-can.com/robinson.htm

Our goal is to develop a "cross cultural link" between the "Land of Lakes Region" of Ontario and your area. I am a member of the "Global Coalition of Environmental Artists", a now forming consortium of Artists committed to Sustainable Development. Our local retreat, The Empyrean Artists Retreat is located on Otty Lake which is currently available for rent to Artists and Patrons, who come and stay for a weekend or a week to live within the surroundings of art, a "living gallery", or to work. Its situated on a beautiful lake, in the center of the "Land of Lakes Region, which has over a thousand lakes within a hundred mile radius.

Similar to your area, our Region is very advanced in awareness toward protecting our environment and supporting sustainable development. The Land of Lakes is an emerging "Arts Mecca", drawing artists from around the world to come as "Artists in Residents, and be inspired by the tranquil beauty of our Spring Fed Lakes, and Waterways.

We are seeking sponsorship from your region to help develop this Cross Cultural Link.

This is my website www.comsearch-can.com/robinson.htm

This is the Empyrean Artists Retreat listed with our agent: http://www.cottagesunlimited.com/cott6a.htm

Do you have any thoughts on this?

With regards,

Gregori Robinson
